Enerate: The Interactive Visual Album

It’s really quite rare that you get to make a world first. But with the interactive visual album Summer Studios made for Australian band Enerate, it was just that. For their new album, we produced an interactive music video for each of the 8 songs, the Interactive Visual Album came as a mobile app. This is the future of music videos. It contains music videos with multi-tangent narratives, video games, and viewpoint controls. The first of it’s kind, the Interactive Visual Album was selected to be a part of Bigsound Tech in 2018, for entrepreneurial excellence in new music technologies, and also showcased at VIVID Sydney’s Clipped Music Video Festival.

Summer Studios created a bespoke video game music video for Melbourne artist Feelds for the relase of his new single “Glass Arms”. Feelds is an extremely talented musician and artist, and he designed all the pixel art himself, and sent us a vision of the gameplay. We brought his idea to life and tuned it into a fun game which leads you to a secret stream of his new single at the end.

We rebranded and completely overhauled the Enerate website for their release of ‘Good Times Airlines’ The Interactive Visual Album. We made the site super dynamic, being automatically populated with images, videos and tourdates being pulled from Instagram, YouTube and Songkick.
