In 2016 MTV Upload launched in Australia. A simple concept. Any artist can upload their music video, and MTV will play it on this show. Brilliant! Finally proper user generated television. We wanted the campaign to feel homemade… Quick & dirty - Like anyone can do it. Because that’s the ethos behind MTV Upload. You can upload a music video you shot with a full director and crew, or a music video you shot on you iPhone. With MTV Upload anyone can make a music video, and get it on MTV.
We oversaw the campaign executions with a launch spot, a call to action, website integration, and in-program on air broadcast graphics.
